Frequency Converter Uninterruptible Power Supply:

SERIES UPSC

Frequency Converter UPS

Power Systems & Controls' Series UPSC is a Frequency Converter UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) system.  The UPSC will support customers who need an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and frequency converter.  The UPSC supports the critical load, in addition to providing fluid frequency conversion to the load.  Above all, the equipment will support 25, 50, 60, 100 or 400Hz applications.  Similarly to our other converters, the Series UPSC is based on PS&C’s "Continuum" product.  It is the result of a 3-year Research & Development effort executed by Power Systems & Controls' Electrical Engineering Department.  The unit provides clean, reliable power to any critical load - Worldwide.

Applications:

Benefits:

  • Solid-State Topology
  • Precision Voltage Regulation
  • Control & Fault Monitoring
  • PWM Inverter & Rectifier
  • Integrated Quiet Design
  • Vertical & Horizontal Configurations
  • Multiple Output Capability

PS&C’s Series UPSC is ideal for any environment where a UPS is needed to support the load with a different frequency. This happens when the input and output power are not at the same. PS&C's frequency converter with battery backup is available from 10 to 300kVA. This machine will not only complete the task, but also eliminate a single point of failure. This will improve efficiency and increase up time. In other words, our machine provides the perfect solution for your project.

In addition to converting the frequency and voltage, the Series UPSC also converts the upstream power from 3 Phase to 1 Phase, as needed. The input and output voltage are selectable. This incredible range makes the Series UPSC one of the most versatile uninterruptible power supplies available today. It sets the standard for all Test and Research Laboratories throughout the world. The machine can be outfitted with numerous options ranging from advanced communications and dual outputs at various frequencies to specialized NEMA and ISO enclosures.
