What is a Lighting Inverter:
Series LI
Power Systems & Control' Series LI Emergency Lighting Inverter was developed to answer the federal regulations that govern all facilities in the United States. Emergency egress (exits) for people is required by federal and state law. The Series LI is part of a centralized emergency lighting system. The Lighting Inverter will supply reliable, isolated, and clean DC power to the emergency lights. It meets all Federal and State standards for an emergency lighting inverter system. The Series LI is ideal for hotels, amusement parts, large parking lots, office buildings, and schools. In addition to any location where people need to use life safety lighting. There are also numerous options available that can customize the system to exactly meet the users' specific application.
Applications:
- Hotels & Motels
- High Rise Apartments
- Schools & Universities
- Theatres & Theme Parks
- Airport Terminals
- Warehouse & Parking Garages
- Places of Worship
Codes:
- UL 924
- UL 1778
- NFPA 101 & NFPA 111
- NFPA 70 NEC
- FCC Article 15, J, Class A
- ANSI, IEEE C62.41 Category B
- SEPSS/ECE/Level 1 & 2
The Series LI is a double conversion lighting inverter system with pulse width modulation (PWM) inverter and rectifier controls. This PWM/IGBT technology allows for some of the most efficient double conversion possible with an efficiency up to 98%. The microprocessor controls provide the clean, conditioned power that meets UL 924 standards. This matched with it modular design allows a more flexible approach for today's lighting inverter applications. If your power requirement grows, then simply add another module to your overall system.
Emergency lighting inverters offer complete system protection, monitoring, and manageability, which guarantees maximum up time and reliability. You can trust that when the power goes out that the lights will continue to operate no matter what the conditions or situation for 90 minutes to allow safe and orderly evacuation. Although generator compatibility is available for users who require additional lighting time such as prisons.
The Series LI is designed to handle both 1 phase or 3 phase power requirements as needed. It is also available with battery monitoring and communications to help detect any problems. There are also numerous options available ranging from a remote color touch screen display to specialized NEMA and ISO enclosures.
