Tutor-Perini Corporation quickly identified Power Systems & Controls as the ideal subcontractor to help support their operations in Haiti. Perini has been working on important infrastructure projects in Haiti in support of U.S. Aid efforts to help rebuild the country after the devastating earthquakes that ravaged the country in 2010. They reached out to PS&C for help in providing large three phase static inverters to convert direct current to alternating current. They needed these inverters to help power critical substations that would be providing power to thousands of people without power. The units were delivered on time, were installed by Perini on-site, and have been in continuous operation since that time.
