Portable Medical Center:

Model PMC

In medical emergencies time is always of the essence, which is why Power Systems & Controls developed our Portable Medical Center (PMC) for any location in need of medical support. Pursuant to battlefield medicine, the PMC's became popular by first responders. They are used by organizations who will be prepared at a moment’s notice.  Organizations we assist are similar to FEMA and the National Guard.  PS&C’s Portable Medical Centers are tested, proven, and imperative in treating today’s global emergency response needs.

The Portable Medical Center (PMC) is offered in a 20’, 40’ or custom design footprint. One side of the PMC consists of a “foldable” wall, which opens and folds out, tripling the amount of available space to treat patients. After the walls of the medical shelter are opened, a tent is attached.  This creates shade against the heat and sun. Water and power hookups are also provided. A sink, refrigerator, Eye Washing stations, and other important medical equipment are in the PMC.

Interior Layout:

The number of hospital beds available varies based on the model chosen and User application. Hospital grade beds are inside the container anchored to the floor.  This avoids damage from occuring during transport. Simple cots are also provided for populating the “tent” area for additional patients. For medical storage, there are storage cabinets for storing medicine, vaccines, and other medical supplies. LED lighting is installed throughout the portable medical center for proper lighting. The floor consists of anti-slip interlocking rubber tiles. This allows for easy cleaning and sterilization.

PS&C’s portable medical center is capable of being deployed anywhere in the world due to its 50Hz/60Hz dual operation. Power Systems & Controls can offer our standard 20’ or 40’ Portable Command Centers, as well as, models for Expandable, Modular, and Design & Build requirements.
