DC POWER:
DC Power Supply & DC Inverter
PS&C specializes in servicing your DC Power needs. We also service in Direct Current Power Supply, and Direct Current Rectifiers, Direct Current Voltage.
Examples of DC Power:
DC Power Supply:
Power Systems & Controls uses a solid-state rectifier. Rectifiers are often found serving as components of DC Power Supplies and high-voltage direct current power transmission systems. The simple process of rectification produces a type of DC characterized by pulsating voltages and currents (although still unidirectional). Depending upon the type of end-use, this type of DC current may then need to be further modified. Modification would be relatively constant DC voltage produced by such sources as batteries or solar cells.
DC Inverter:
PS&C’s Series DCI, Direct Current Inverter was designed to provide the best possible solution for any inverter requirement. An inverter is an electrical power converter that changes direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC). The converted AC power can be at any required voltage and frequency because of our use of transformers and switching. Solid-State inverters have no moving parts, besides fans for cooling, and are used in a wide range of applications. Some of these applications include converting DC power from Alternative Energy Sources (AES) to large electric utility DC requirements. Inverters are commonly used to supply AC power from DC sources such a solar panels, wind turbines, and batteries.
