Alstom selected Power Systems & Controls to provide 250kVA
Automatic Voltage Regulators to support their SaskPower Swift Current SVS project. The Swift Current Station is located within the Municipality of Swift Current in southwest Saskatchewan, Canada. Our
Automatic Voltage Regulator systems will be utilized in support of the installation of their Static Var Systems (SVS) connected at 128kV (-40/+150MVars).
A global sourcing search was done by Alstom Grid Canada to find the correct supplier, and it was determined that PS&C was one of the few in the world that could meet their stringent guidelines and requirements. This is PS&C's first opportunity to work with Alstom Grid Canada and we look forward to supporting their operations in the future.
