Structural Engineering:

Power Systems & Controls' Structural Engineering design is the basis for all of PS&C's shelters and containers. As PS&C builds ballistic reinforced, as well as, forced entry shelters the need for a fully staffed structural engineering staff is a necessity. Our engineers utilize the latest tools and software in conjunction with the FEA data to determine what size and thickness members are needed to complete the mission. Power Systems & Controls has a fully staffed Structural Engineering Department, which has over 100 years of experience working in the power quality and similar fields. Structural engineering is a field of engineering dealing with the analysis and design of structures that support or resist loads. Structural engineers are most commonly involved in the design of buildings and large non-building structures but they can also be involved in the design of machinery or any item where structural integrity affects the item’s function or safety.
